Pashpatinath & Boudhanath temples

The first day was pretty nice given that we now have a rainy season. We first took na nice walk to Pashpatinath – a Hindus temple where we witnessed the cremation ceremonies, we took some pictures with local hippies who chant Hare Krishna, are allowed to smoke weed and live in caves (almost like in Sacramonte).

We then went to buddist temple Boudhanath stupe where we did 3 coras – cirlces around the famous temple. Unfortunately the eyes of the universe which sit on the top of the temple where scaffolded and under renovation
most likely as the result of earthquake.
